MASAI MARA/LAKE NAKURU/AMBOSELI – CAMPING SAFARI

DAY 1: MASAI MARA

Masai Mara Camping Safari.Early breakfast drive to Masai Mara arriving for lunch. Have an afternoon game drive within the reserve as the rains bring the grasslands of Masai Mara to life the vast plains rumble with thunder of approaching hooves as 1.5 million wildebeest migrate up the south into Masai Mara. The great migration is a vision beyond relief on one of the world’s most impressive spectacles staged every year in Kenya, directed by raw forces of nature you will also appreciate it’s high animal concentration and abundance black maned lions, herds of topi roan
antelope, cheetah, common zebra, coke’s hartebeest though luck essential for spotting leopard and rhino.Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA

Early breakfast followed by a game drive. The landscape is breathtaking with its network of roads specially constructed for game viewing. The Mara River bisects the Mara and it’s tributaries which are margined by
luxuriant riverine forest lunch at the camp. In the afternoon you have three optional activities, a visit to Masai village to see their nomadic life this at extra cost, a game drive or an escorted nature walk with armed Masai guides.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA – NAKURU

After breakfast depart masai Mara for lake Nakuru national park where every flamingo in the world seems to be here, a spectacular ocean of pink surrounded by forest and plains that are home to lion, rhino, leopard, and
large herds of waterbuck.Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI

After breakfast, you will have a morning game viewing session leave lake nakuru for Nairobi with lunch enroute to Amboseli national park for dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 5: AMBOSELI

Kenya Camping Safaris.A day of game drives in this park, which dust devils swirl around the edges, but in the heart of the park is an amazing swamp which elephants and hippos are in abundance. A visit to the observation hill will follow where Male zebras fight to get a mate will look out for the glistering majestic snowcap of Mt Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is justly famous both for it’s big game – elephants, which are the most studied in the world. Living beside the most celebrated culture in the world- the maasai, lions and cheetahs with picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI –NAIROBI

After breakfast, proceed for your final game drive leave for Nairobi after lunch arriving in the evening.

LAKE NAKURU/LAKE NAIVASHA/MASAI MARA

DAY 1: Lake Nakuru

Pick up from your hotel by 7.30 A.m, we drive down the Escarpment via the floor of the Great rift valley, to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in good time for lunch. It is the perfect place to experience one of the world’s largest ornithological spectacles,The Pink Flamingo, or a rich concentration of wildlife including black and white colobus monkey and is also a famed Rhino Sanctuary. Afternoon game drive in the park and around the lake. Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake
on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

DAY 2: Lake Naivasha

After an early break fast drive to Lake Naivasha with a stop over for a picnic lunch enroute. Brief stop over to view the Great Rift Valley at view point before getting into Naivasha for a Sundowner boat ride to Crescent Island well known for its birdlife.

DAY 3: Masai Mara

After an early breakfast depart Lake Naivasha and drive to Masai Mara with a picnic lunch enroute. Evening game drive.

All meals and overnight at Olmoran tented camp Masai Mara.

DAY 4: Masai Mara

Whole day spent exploring the Mara plains to experience the Mara magic! This reserve  is an extension of the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania is Kenya’s premier reserve and is famed for its outstanding concentration
of wildlife with the wildebeest migration mainly in July and August. On this day you have a chance to experience the hot air balloon ride over the Mara plains or go for an escorted walk within designated areas at an extra cost.

DAY 5: Nairobi

After breakfast leave the camp and drive as you watch out for game. Stop over at Narok for lunch.  proceed on to Nairobi. Drop off at your hotel. End of safari.

AMBOSELI – CAMPING SAFARI

DAY 1: Amboseli

Pick up from your Hotel at 7.30 a.m. drive  to amboseli via Emali town. Amboseli is Kenya’s international biosphere reserve. Amboseli in Masai language means “place of water”.The park has an endless supply of water which is filtered through thousands of metres of volcanic rock from mount Kilimanjaro.Vast herd of elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopards are the main attraction. Enjoy the 3 days Amboseli camping safari where Mount Kilimanjaro forms the backdrop of this game sanctuary and it is a sight to see and marvel at.

Arrive at the park in time for Lunch, in the afternoon explore the park searching for the wild animals, later drive back to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: Amboseli

After breakfast, get your packed lunch boxes proceed for game drive, Whole day spent in the park viewing game in this second most popular park in Kenya. Here you have a good opportunity to see all the ‘Big Five’ and a variety of other game with the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro – the highest in Africa – in the background and also visiting the Maasai village to catch a glimpse of their way of life.Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 3: Nairobi

An early morning game drive,back to the camp for breakfast, afterwards leave the camp and start return journey back to Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel  or to the Airport to board the flight back home.

MAASAI MARA – CAMPING SAFARI

The Maasai Mara is Kenya’s most celebrated game park, it offers the possibility of seeing “the big five” and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration is a spectacle to behold for any would be visitor to Kenya mainly in July to October of each year.

Day 1. Nairobi – Mara
Pick up from your residential area at 7:30am.Depart from Nairobi  and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving at the camp/lodge in the afternoon for lunch. Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Manyatta camp or similar / Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 2. Maasai Mara
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5.  Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at Manyatta camp or similar/Mara Sopa Lodge.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place.

This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Day 3. Mara – Nairobi
Morning game drives then back to the camp /lodge for full breakfast after which we leave for Nairobi to arrive by 1600 hrs where the safari ends.

DAY 2 – Maasai Mara

Early morning game drive or an optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast. Whole day in Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives.  Meals and overnight at Mara Sidai camp or similar.

DAY 3 – Departure

After Breakfast Check Out with a game drive en route.

DAY 2 – Nairobi -Lake Naivasha

After breakfast you depart to Lake Naivasha area arriving in time for lunch .Afternoon at leisure with optional boat rides at Lake Naivasha.  Dinner and overnight stay Fish Eagle Inn or similar.

DAY 3 -Lake Naivasha -Maasai Nara

After breakfast, depart Naivasha and drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. MAASAI MARA AND LAKE NAKURU – SAFARI

Day 1: Nairobi/Masaai Mara
Picked up from your hotel where you will start your safari to Masai Mara at 8:30 am, travel south ward to the viewpoint of the great rift valley, admire the escapement of the area from a distance then continue to the Little Italian church which is just a few meters ahead, have the history of the place then proceed to Narok, a small Masaai town well known for the most beautiful curios ever, proceed to Masaai Mara with lunch at Narok town arriving late in the afternoon at the camp followed by introductory game viewing to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masaai Mara
A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.  All meals and over night in the camp.

Day 3: Masaai Mara/Lake Nakuru
Pre-breakfast game drive, return to campsite for late breakfast and leave your campsite and proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving in the late afternoon.  Dinner and overnight in Nakuru Hotel.

Day 4: Nakuru/Nairobi
After early morning breakfast proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National park known for it’s millions of flamingos and other water birds. Leave Nakuru after lunch for Nairobi arriving mid or late afternoon.
